There are so many wonderful words of wisdom from Martin Luther King, Jr. One of my favorite quotes (there are so many to choose just one) is:
"Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'"
There are so many ways in which we can help others. Many people feel like they can't because they don't know how. The truth is that there are things we have the power to make better every day. Every time you interact with another person you can try a little harder to treat them with kindness, respect, and dignity. What a difference that can make in someone's day! Every time you go to work, you can go the extra mile to help your co-workers, colleagues, clients, or customers have an easier day. Every day off you can dedicate a little bit of time to helping the less fortunate, serving your community, and making a difference. You don't have to do something huge in order to make a big difference in someone's life.
I'm also happy to announce that we're starting a video series to answer your legal questions. Regular people will be submitting questions and we will post videos providing answers. Send an email to TrabinLaw@gmail.com if you want us to answer a question! This is another small way that we can help bring knowledge and information to the community, making a positive difference one question at a time.
Trabin Law wishes everyone a wonderful Martin Luther King Jr. Day! The work continues to create a just, peaceful world in which all people are treated with dignity and justice. You can do your part by serving others.
